CANactions 2008 was a conference which pooled in around 400 visitors from Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odessa, Dnipropetrovsk, Mariupol, and other cities of Ukraine. During that one day event more than fifteen Ukrainian and foreign architects presented their conceptual designs, created with the help of emerging design tools, aimed at active interaction of architecture with the surrounding, resolving social problems , and creating high quality urban environment.Among the speakers of 2008 there were Armen Menendian, Grisha Zotov, Masatoshi Oka, Michael Ferdinand Henriksen, Altroom, Gruppa Predmetov, Oleg Grechuh, Ksenia Dmitrenko, Kirill Komarov, Dmitrii Antonuk, Ivan Malinka, Andrey Grachev, Alexander Kornienko, Maksim Urovnikov, Viktor Zotov, Olga Prokopenko, Rogier Dobma, Pominchuk Alexander.Further information on CANactions 2008 can be found in journal АСС.
